HMC Cardiopulmonary Care Team Train with Air Evac Lifeteam

Continual education is a big part of a medical professional’s career. Each year HMC team members spend many hours learning the newest treatments and procedures, earning new certifications and re-certifications, studying the latest research and more, in order to provide our patients with best-in-class care. This week members of our cardiopulmonary care team spent the day training with Jason Rich, FP-C, CCP-C, NRP of the Air Evac Lifeteam. The training focused on cardiac and airway emergency recognition and management, with a special emphasis on pediatric emergency respiratory component and CPR recertification. This team is among the first to conduct training using our new state-of-the-art CPR manikins with instrumented directive feedback device (IDFD).
