seeking teachers and college students to volunteer
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the demand on our clinical staff will increase as they spend more time working to meet the health needs of our community. With local schools and day cares closed, it has become difficult for some of our team members to find care for their children. We are currently seeking teachers and college students to volunteer to provide child care services for our clinical staff. We have secured a location for the child care but need volunteers to help staff the facility.
If you are interested in offering your help to the community by volunteering, please contact Susanna Sivley by phone 256-609-4681 or email email@example.com for details.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to help.
NO VISITORS ALLOWED AT HMC
For the protection of our patients, staff and visitors, and by order of Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Public Health (March 19, 2020), no visitors are allowed at Highlands Medical Center.
One visitor per patient will be permitted in extraordinary circumstances, including maternity, pediatrics and end-of-life care.
Medical screenings for fever will be performed on all approved visitors. Persons with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be allowed to enter.
HMC remains open to patients for diagnostic services and treatment in the Therapy Center, Imaging Center, Surgery Center, and Outpatient Lab as prescribed by a physician, as well as, those seeking emergency medical attention.
People needing to make a payment should not come to the facility, and instead call 256-218-3839 for assistance.
